Welcome to our website page. Our class teacher is called Miss Couch. Miss Angell and Mrs Crouch also work in our class and they listen to people read and work with us in our groups. We have 19 children in our class. We enjoy working together and helping one another. Every morning before we go out to play we eat a healthy snack that we have brought in from home and eat our piece of fresh fruit from school. We choose a friend to sit beside.
Each day we play in our outdoor classroom. One of our favourite activities is building with our play blocks. We make all sorts of towers and castles! Recently in our maths work we had great fun making a house for the three little pigs and afterwards drew the house in our books. We listen to lots of stories and take part in circle time underneath the willow dome.
We have a role play area in the classroom where we can take part in imaginative play. We learn about English and Mathematics through play based activities each day. At the end of every morning we have a free choosing session in which we can follow our own interests and ideas. After lunch we have quiet reading, followed by PE, science, music, art, design and technology, RE, history or geography.
We use the computers in our classroom every day, as well as the Listening centres, the digital camera, robot toys and we watch 'Words and Pictures' on Fridays mornings. On Friday afternoon we have a "show and tell" session, when we bring in a small toy or book to talk about.
