Welcome to Class Four!

Our class is very exciting, our teacher is Miss Mardon and our Teaching Assistant is Miss Cooke.

We have independent projects every term to complete for homework. They are fun because we get to learn about a different range of subjects outside school.
We are the oldest class in the school, and therefore we need to set a good example to the younger children. In our class we have two year groups year six, and year five. We are aged from nine to eleven. We are divided into groups for particular subjects according to our personal abilities. The younger children in the class enjoy it because they feel secure among older children, and they learn from them.
Our classroom is on the first floor and we can look down on everyone outside!
Each year we go away on a residential camp sometimes with another school. Last year we spent a week at The Pinkery Centre where we took part in traversing the cliffs, problem solving and horse riding.
We have plenty of opportunity to take part in extra curricular activities. In class 4 we have football and netball clubs. We play against different teams from other schools in the area, - our football team has just won the are competition! We have guitar, trumpet, flute, piano and keyboard lessons for those who are interested.
We love entertaining and our show last year was 'Blast Off!'. The whole school gets to participate, our performances are always great fun.
As the oldest children in the school, we are able to help organise activities and events. We really enjoy helping organise Sports Day and
helping and encouraging the youngest children in the school in their events. We even had enough energy for our own events!
In class 4 we are really keen artists. In the past we produced work for an art exhibition held at the Royal Albert museum in Exeter, celebrating 300 years of farming. Here is a photo of our work.
